Join Us is the title of Corrosif’s first album. It contains ten titles. They let us come to a sonorous country where loudness and fineness are the rulers. The music of Join Us is violent, intense and melodic. It mixes different styles of metal with a coherent and efficacious way. A lot of care has been brought to the design and the photography on this album.

In fact Join Us presents itself under the form of a digipack with two openings and a booklet of eighteen pages. There is a strong unity between the musical and thematically universe of Join Us and its visual support: The mannequin seems like us because its appearance but in the same time it is cold and without existence. Mankind, like the mannequin or a puppet, can be manipulated and live through false values and loose its own dignity.

Skeleton Kit contains 4 titles and proposes a melancholic and depressive music. It represents the dark life experiences of Corrosif’s musicians. It means also a reject of some modern values of our modern society. They are only driven by an hedonist ideal of life: ruled by desire in the name of pleasure!!!

UNDERGROUD and THE ROAD are two tracks of Skeleton Kit with the same subject. These songs are telling a story about a man or a woman living through such ideal of life. But at the end it leads to pain and sadness. We cannot be perfect and always have what we want.

IT is the second song of this EP. IT was inspired by a book with the same name written by Stephen King. This roman narrates the misadventures of people meeting a clown who concretizes their intimate fears. The last song is called A BLOODY GAME. Sometimes falling in love is the worst thing you can live. So love is like a bloody game with no winner.

This live was recorded at the Hacienda Sonic, in the city of Sierre in Switzerland during the beginning of the year 2001. This night was special because it was the come back of Corrosif on stage after two years without having concert. It contains all the tracks of Skeleton Kit and a part of new compositions for the first album. You can also find titles which don’t appear on Skeleton Kit and Join Us.
